Understanding a rule is an overlooked strength. Someone who asks a careful question before starting may learn more from a game than someone who makes a fast selection without understanding the task. This reflection explores how you get oriented; it does not reward speed or label a cautious learner less intuitive.

Try the short exercise first

Make three cards marked A, B, and C. Write this rule: choose one card; then turn over a separate answer card prepared by a willing partner. Before playing, explain what counts as a match and when you may change your choice. Try three rounds, then deliberately change one rule for a fourth round and state it aloud before choosing. If you are alone, rehearse the procedure without claiming a hidden-answer result.

What this reflection explores

Making the task clear: Before your next game, write what you choose, when it becomes final, and what the reveal means.

Learning by rehearsal: Do one openly demonstrated round before keeping a scored record.

Noticing changes: When a rule changes, start a new labeled block in your notes.

A concrete example

Imagine that a first round asks for any matching symbol, but the next asks for the symbol in a particular position. Those are different tasks. A response can be sensible under the first rule and wrong under the second. Before interpreting the result as an intuition problem, check which task you actually attempted.

Take the twelve-question test

Use the large test button on this page. Answer about the exercise you actually tried, including steps where you had no opportunity. The reflection groups your reported habits into three areas and suggests a next practice for each. A high total means you reported a habit more often; it is not an accuracy score or proof of psychic ability.
