What is intuition training?
Intuition training is the repeated practice of noticing an impression before all the facts are revealed, recording it honestly, and comparing it with later feedback. The goal is not to force certainty. It is to become more aware of how your own quick impressions, feelings, images, and patterns show up.
A simple five-step practice
- Pause. Take a slow breath and reduce distractions.
- Notice. Pay attention to the first color, image, word, feeling, or physical sensation that appears.
- Record. Choose or write the impression before explaining it away.
- Review. Reveal the result and compare without judging yourself.
- Reflect. Note which impressions were useful and which may have come from expectation or guessing.
Skills the Intuisity modules exercise
Different activities emphasize different abilities: focused attention, recognition of subtle signals, visual imagination, emotional awareness, pattern recognition, memory for first impressions, and confidence in making a choice. Feedback and progress tracking make it easier to observe your personal tendencies over time.
How often should you practice?
Short, regular sessions are easier to reflect on than long sessions done under pressure. A few mindful minutes can be enough. Stop when you feel tired or frustrated, and remember that one score does not define your ability.
